Blog And Ping Still An Advantage
Blogging gives you multiple significant advantages over traditional sites when it comes to link building. Each time a blogger hits the publish button, it sends a message called a ping to multiple blog search engines. These engines will almost instantly link to the blog in question, giving it exposure, links, and the ability to get more links.
With a traditional site, you don’t have this advantage so you’re pretty much on your own to get links. Sure, you can still succeed but it will be more difficult. I have said it before and I’ll say it again. If you don’t have a blog on your site, I would add one pronto. If you don’t, you’re missing out.
If you add a blog, I would recommend using WordPress for your blogging platform. WordPress is really easy to use, and takes care of a lot of the internal linking you want to do.
